FINALLY!! After one month of its release date of the Lucifer – May 8, 2019, it has been renewed for Season 5. Unfortunately, It’s going to be the last episode of the Lucifer.
Hey! I know you’re Happy as well as Mad, as it’s going to end but can expect not to see some hanging ending.
All thanks to Netflix for renewing this show after cancellation by the Fox. Netflixed resumed season 4 on one week after many requests of the fan and campaign #savelucifer.
With this news, Lucifer shall rise one last time again from Hell. All fans, including me, really hope to see some happy ending on this season.
“We are so incredibly thankful to Netflix for resurrecting our show last season, and now letting us finish the story of Lucifer on our terms,” reads a statement from co-showrunners Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich. “Most importantly, we want to thank the fans for their incredible passion and support. The best is yet to come!”
With this tweet, we can expect that there will be something exciting. When TVLine asked the series bosses last month about the renewal timeline, they indeed hoped to get the right word by early June.
As Henderson noted, “The fan support is super-important, and in particular, [the first] month is going to be crucial towards whether or not we get a Season 5 because they [at Netflix] are paying attention. So far, the fan support has been amazing — everything you could ask for.”

Lucifer has been the top trending show in Netflix and overall among all TV shows, and it will end for good. We are very thankful to Netflix for saving Lucifer and for the Final season.
