About Dzigavertov.tv
A living lab for ads, copy, art direction & creative disorder.
Dzigavertov.tv is a magazine dedicated to advertising, design, art direction, and copywriting — a reference space for creatives who want to explore the edges of their craft.
Our name pays homage to Dziga Vertov (1896–1954), the Soviet filmmaker and theorist whose radical vision changed cinema forever. Vertov believed in film as a “kino-eye”, a tool to capture and reorganize reality with new, disruptive forms of montage. His work rejected convention and pushed beyond narrative comfort, turning the camera into an engine of truth, rhythm, and experiment.
That spirit — experimentation, irreverence, and radical clarity — guides this magazine. We believe in dissecting ads as if they were films, studying copy like scripts, and treating art direction as visual montage. For us, creativity is not only craft, it’s collision: between order and disorder, beauty and ugliness, clarity and noise.
This is not a corporate blog. It’s a living lab — where reference campaigns, slogans, and logos coexist with glitches, mistakes, and feísmo. Like Vertov’s films, we seek to disturb the obvious and reveal new possibilities.
